Christ is Risen!!!

As you think about how the resurrection affects you, drop the baggage of magic and God somehow controlling your will and think about the renewal of mankind. Christ brought us into the reality of "The Kingdon" - living in the heavenly kingdom on earth. He brings us salvation - spiritual renewal/healing. He defeated the death we once feared fread us from the slavery we have to our passions (things that drive/control us to be farther from God).

He didn't create a perfect world that no longer has sickness/death/bad drivers/negative experiences because God has given us free will, and the above is a result of that free will and sin in the world.

But we do have a reality available to us, to live outside the world of sin/hate/sickness/death and live in the Love of God and then can do our part to live in the kingdom here on earth. We may convert people, we may not, but that isn't the point of the Christian life. The focus is to live in the kingdom, a life growing closer to God and learning how to direct our passions toward Him and not toward the world.

I think sometimes people are disappointed God isn't "magic" and the resurrection didn't just fix everything. But the point was for our salvation, the moving of our too often strong and addicted(to the world) wills towards our creator and not to ourselves. It was for eternal good things and not temperal.
